PHILOSOPHY
It is my hope that my artwork inspires people to enjoy each and every day to its fullest potential, while remembering what truly is important to them.

I have always enjoyed creating very whimsical, colorful pieces that I hope not only inspire people, but also bring joy into their homes. Whether my work is considered children’s artwork or very whimsical adult artwork, I hope it invokes the same feeling to all…life is too short to be serious all the time.

STYLE
Contemporary/Children’s

TECHNIQUE
Acrylic on canvas

BACKGROUND
May began painting about twelve years ago by taking a few painting classes with a group of friends and quickly grew to love it. Shortly after that she began her own business of creating small home accessories and holiday gift items. She has sold her work to several retail shops in the Chicago area and has also participated in holiday arts and crafts shows including: Harper College and Christmas at the Faire.
